Shibuya-kei is a type of Japanese pop music which combines a mixutre of jazz, fusion, traditional music, bossa nova, and electronica. Shibuya-kei genre first gained recgonition in the Shibuya district of Tokyo, from which it took its name.
Pizzicato Five is often considered the creators of the genre.
