BRAND NEW TOMORROW is the sixth album released by trf. The first press comes with a cardboard slipcase. This was their last album to be released under the name trf, as their next releases were under their new name TRF, it was also their last original album to be released before their six-year hiatus. The album was released on the same day as their twelfth single "Happening Here / teens".
The album reached #2 on the Oricon charts, and charted for twelve weeks. It was their first album to not debut at the #1 spot since their stardom, also it was their last original album to sell more than 1 million copies. As it sold 1,002,700 copies in from 1995 through 1996, it was 21st best-selling album of 1996.
