ether is the second album released by Remioromen. It was originally released in 2005 while the band was under SPEEDSTAR RECORDS, then reissued in 2009 after they transferred to OORONG RECORDS. The first press of the original release came with a picture design on the disc, while the regular press came with a text design. The original release reached #2 on the Oricon weekly chart and charted for 71 weeks, selling 402,205 copies. It was the #54 best-selling album of 2005 and #90 of 2006. The reissue reached #150 on the weekly chart and charted for one week, selling 911 copies.
