"Roly-Poly" is T-ARA's third Japanese single. It was released in three versions: two limited CD+DVD editions and a regular CD only edition. Each edition features different CD tracklist, with a different B-side. The song "Keojitmal ~Uso~ (Japanese ver.)" is a Japanese version of their debut Korean digital single "Keojitmal", the song "Apple Is A (Japanese ver.) " is a Japanese version of the Korean song with the same name was originally included on their first album Absolute First Album and "Roly-Poly in Copacabana (Japanese ver.)" is a Japanese version of the Korean song with the same tittle was originally included on their second Repackage mini-album, "Roly-Poly in Copacabana" and their digital single of the same tittle. "Roly-Poly (Japanese ver.)" is a Japanese version of the Korean song with the same tittle was originally included on their second mini-album, "John Travolta Wanna Be".

Three music videos were originally released for the Korean version of the song, the standard 12 minute video featuring singer Jeon Young Rok (Boram's father) and actress Im Ye Jin, a "Stage Version" (Dance ver.) and a "World Wide T-ara" version, featuring old and new scenes, behind the camera footage and a collection of fan-made dance covers previously uploaded to YouTube. A music video for "Roly-Poly"'s new version "Roly-Poly in Copacabana" was also produced.
