246 is a pop-rock song recorded by Shiina Hekiru. The song is named after a major highway in Japan. The song's lyrics and music were written and composed by Ueno Kouji, whom previously worked with Shiina on "Kaze ga Fuku Oka" (where he only composed the music). The song's arrangement was done by famous Japanese rock arranger/producer Kameda Seiji, whom is best known for working with artists such as Shiina Ringo, Spitz, and YUKI.
