"Sora wo Akiramenai" is the fourth single released by Shiina Hekiru. This is Shiina's second out of three singles, leading up to her fourth album with a will. This is Shiina's first single to include a karaoke version of the b-side. The single was re-released on 2004.09.29, in a 12cm CD format as part of celebrating Shiina's 10th anniversary.
The single reached #24 on the Oricon chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of five weeks. It sold a total of 38,343 copies. The 12cm version failed to chart on the Oricon.

Music Video
The music video for Shiina Hekiru's "Sora wo Akiramenai" was shot on June 25th 1996 and directed by Ohta Yuji. The music video was shot in greyscale, and features Shiina singing the song along side her band.
The video was released on Shiina's second video collection, Hequil II as chapter #6.
