"Everlasting Train -Owarinaki Tabibito-" is the 13th single released by Shiina Hekiru. This is Shiina's first release since the dismissal of her old producer (who produced her for the past two years). The title track was used as the first opening theme song to the anime Eden's Bowy, where Shiina played the voice of the main characters Elisiss and Jsieda. The b-side, "The Rain" is an Enka influenced ballad which is unlike anything else recored by Shiina. The songs on this single don't appear on any of her studio albums. This single was re-released on 2004.09.29, in a 12cm CD format.
The single reached #15 on the weekly Oricon chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of six weeks. The re-release of this single failed to chart. This single sold a total of 47,972 copies, making it Shiina's second best-selling single.
