"Akanezora" is Remioromen's tenth single and first to be released in a limited CD+DVD format. It was also the first to include an instrumental, which is unusual on the tenth single, as it is common for Japanese singles to include instrumental versions of the songs. "Akanezora" was used as JRA's CM image song. The single's cover depicts model Teraguchi Misato and the PV also features model Rie. It reached #3 on the Oricon charts and charted for 11 weeks, selling 87,237 copies. The CD+DVD version also came with a Kit Kat x Remioromen postcard.
