"BOY MEETS GIRL" is the seventh single released by trf, and one of their signature songs along with "survival dAnce ~no no cry more~". It was used as the Coca Cola CM song. The single, along with all the singles released by TRF up to 1999, was reissued in 2006 in a 12cm CD version with a cheaper price, to commemorate TRF's 15th anniversary.
It was their first single to reach #3 on the Oricon charts, and also, their second single to reach the million sales. It charted for thirty-four weeks and as it sold 1,222,360 copies in 1994, it was the 9th best-selling single of that year.
