RIGHT BESIDE YOU is the seventh album released by Shiina Hekiru. The album's sound, is unlike that of her previous two albums. The producer of those albums was let go, and Akashi Masao had taken over producing for Shiina. The album as recieved co-productions from artists as Saito Hideo, George Asahi, and Yamazaki Toshiaki. Most of the songs have a deal with gentler pop melodies, but some of the other tracks have been described as raw and edgy. The album was released on the same day as Shiina's "b-side you ~B-SIDE COLLECTION~" compilation album.
The album reached #19 on the Oricon chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of two weeks. In all, the album sold a total of 25,970 copies.
