"Avalon Blue" is the second single recorded by Aoi Eir, and released as Eir. Much like her debut single it is a collaboration with the anison magazine LisAni. The single came packaged with volume six of the magazine, and was used to promote her major label debut "MEMORIA". In 2013, the song was released as her first digital single, which was used as the lead-in track to her debut studio album, BLAU. In 2012 the song was used as the opening theme for the show Rank Oukoku and the ending theme for the show Bakuro Night in 2013.
