KALEIDOSCOPE is the fifth studio album released by Aoi Eir. It was released in five versions: a perfect limited CD+Blu-ray+DVD+Photobook+T-shirt Fanclub edition, a perfect limited CD+Blu-ray+DVD+Photobook+T-shirt edition, a limited CD+Blu-ray+Photobook edition (A), a limited CD+DVD+Photobook edition (B), and a regular CD only edition.
According to the official website, "many individual songs are included! A kaleidoscope-like colorful new album displaying various expressions of Eir Aoi is complete! It includes many anime songs like Sword Art Online series, Fate series, Code Geass, Back Arrow! In addition, the newly written ballad "Rosé" by popular artist Suda Keina and the song "Campanula" produced by Co shu Nie are included for the first time".
The song "Shinzou" was used as the theme for the anime film Gekijouban Sword Art Online -Progressive- Kura Yuuyami no Scherzo; "Hoshi ga Furu Yume" was used as the first ending theme for the anime Fate/Grand Order -Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia-; "ANSWER" was used as theme song for the game Sword Art Online Variant Showdown and was released digitally on December 28th, 2022 ahead of the album; "HELLO HELLO HELLO" was used as the ending theme for the second cour of the anime Cuckoo no Iinazuke; "PHOENIX PRAYER" was used as the 2nd cour opening theme for the anime 15 Shuunen Code Geass Hangyaku no Lelouch; "Tsuki wo Ou Mayonaka" was used as the opening theme for the anime Granbelm; "AtoK" was used as the 2nd cour opening theme for the anime BLUE REFLECTION RAY; "Kodou" was used as the 2nd cour opening theme for the anime Back Arrow; "I will..." was used as the ending theme for the anime Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld; and finally "YeLL" was used as theme song for the CM Nihon Kogakuin. Five new song were included on the album: "Kaleidoscope", "ANSWER", "Rosé", "Campanula" and "YeLL".
