Ohmura Masaaki

Ohmura Masaaki (大村雅朗) was a Japanese arranger and keyboardist. Ohmura got his start in his music career when he started to work for Yamaha's music department in 1975. Soon after, his professional career took off when he first arranged Yagami Junko's Mizuio no Ame. He is best know for his arrangements and compositions for the hit songs of the golden idol ages of 70s and 80s. In 1983, he won the Japan Record Awards' award for Best Arrangement for the song SWEET MEMORIES by Matsuda Seiko. But sadly, he dead on June 1997 due to a pumpnary insufficiency at the age of 46.
