Information

Toaru Kagaku no Chou Ongaku-shuu -A Certain Scientific Railgun: Music Chronicles- is a compilation album released by fripSide. It was released in two versions: a first press limited 3CD+Blu-ray edition and a WMS Exclusive Product 3CD+Blu-ray+Goods edition. It is the group's first physical release with the Warner Music Japan record label.

This album is a tribute to the anime series Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, which includes the original versions sung by Nanjo Yoshino (Phase 2), as well as new versions performed by the members of Phase 3 (Uesugi Mao and Abe Hisayo). It includes new versions of the songs "eternal reality" and "way to answer", as well as a new song performed by Phase 3, "PHASE NEXT".

The digital version of the album only includes the songs "eternal reality (version2025)" and "way to answer (version2025)" along with their respective instrumentals, as if it were a single. The cover art used for the digital version at the time of its release consisted of the same cover art as the physical version, but including the text "selected edition", while from September 29, 2025 it was changed to one with the group's logo on a white background and the album name together including the text "selected edition".
