infinite synthesis is the first album released by the phase 2 of fripSide (7th overall). It was released in two versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD edition. First printing comes with a photobook and a bonus disc titled "re:product mixes ver.I.S", featuring its own artwork. The song "everlasting" was used as the album's lead track.
The song "only my railgun" was used as the first opening theme for the anime To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, while "LEVEL5 -judgelight-" was used as second opening theme and "future gazer" was used as theme song for the OVA of the same anime, while, "everlasting" was used as opening theme for the anime OAD Ah! My Goddess: Itsumo Futari de.
