MAXIMUM is the first album released by MAX and features covers of various Eurobeat songs. First pressings of the album came with an original sticker and a ticket to a Velfarre's SUPER EURO FLASH event. The album reached #1 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for twenty-seven weeks, selling 1,288,260 copies. The album also reached #15 on the yearly Oricon chart for 1997.
