Major Turn-Round is TM NETWORK's ninth studio album. It was their first original album since the release of 1991's EXPO and their re-formation in 1999. The album features a mix of pop and 70's style progressive rock by using analog synthesizers and hammond organs. The band went even further with the "progrock" feel by using a design similar to American rock band Yes's artwork for the album cover.[1]
Since being released on the indies label ROJAM Entertainment (and not their original label, Sony Records), the album was only sold at ROJAM's online store, TSUTAYA, and SHINSEIDO. Because of this, Major Turn-Round did not chart on any of the Oricon charts.
