  • She was an SM Entertainment trainee scheduled to debut as a member of Girls' Generation, however she withdrew from the group before they debuted due to the stressful training regime.
  • She won first place in 2005 at "Chin Chin" Singing Competition.
  • She went to school with Seungho of MBLAQ & Gyuri of KARA.
  • Once she sets her mind to something she will get it no matter what.
  • She hates scary things, once she was in a haunted house and screamed all the way from the entrance to the exit.
  • She has 3 ear piercings on her left ear.
  • She hates spicy foods.
  • In 2012 when Soyeon was filming Haeundae Lovers she was involved in an accident, broke her nose, and had to get plastic surgery on her nose to fix it. After the surgery it became a problem for her to sing live, her voice has gotten weaker, and has been unable to hold her breath well, due to this she has been using playback for most of her live performances.
