Sato Hidetoshi (佐藤英敏) is a Japanese pop composer and producer. He made his start in 1995 by composing theme songs for high profile anime series such as Shin Seiki Evangelion and Slayers. He is best known for being one of Hayashibara Megumi's main composers.

Sato Hidetoshi got his musical begins in 1988 when he contributed two songs to Nagayo Chigusa's mini-album, Doushitan da? My Heart. The next year he worked on a track that was featured on Minamino Yoko's #1 charting album, GAUCHE. After working on Takahashi Yumiko's third single, "Egao no Mahou", he went on a a hiatus.

In 1995, Sato returned to composing music. He worked on Kanno Miho's HAPPY ICECREAM. Later that year Sato's career took off as he worked on music for anime series such as Shin Seiki Evangelion and Slayers. He composed both Takahashi Yoko's "Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis" (opening theme for Shin Seiki Evangelion) as well as Hayashibara Megumi and Okui Masami's "Get along" (opening theme for Slayers). After this point Sato begain working with Hayashibara regularly. He worked with Hayashibara until 2000's "unsteady".

Over the course of the next couple of years Sato's career started to slow down, although he started working with many different seiyuu and pop singers. In 2008, Sato returned to working with Hayashibara on her "Plenty of grit / Revolution" (the theme songs for Slayers REVOLUTION).
