Information

"Proof of Myself" is the 33rd single released by Hayashibara Megumi. The title track was used as the opening theme song to the Saber Marioneette J to X anime, and the B-side was used as the series' closing song. This is Hayashibara's second single to released with a tie-in to the Saber Marionette series.

The single reached #9 on the Oricon chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of five weeks. The also manged to reached #1 on the radio prgram, SOMETHING DREAMS Multimedia Countdown. During its first week on the chart it was #2, with "A HOUSE CAT" at #1, but the two switched positions the following week. The song stayed on the countdown for a total of five weeks.
