EVANGELION -THE BIRTHDAY of AYANAMI Rei- is the second character album released by Hayashibara Megumi, and the twelfth soundtrack released from the Shin Seiki Evangelion anime series. Even though Hayashibara sings only three of the songs, the album is still credited to her. The album was released on Hayashibara's 34th birthday.
