"Makenaide, Makenaide..." is the 45th single released by Hayashibara Megumi. This single is one of two special singles being released on the same day, with the other being CARNIVAL・BABEL・REVIVAL". The title track is currently being used as the theme song to Hayashibara Megumi no Heartful Station, replacing "Nijiiro no Sneaker", which was the theme since it's 1991 debut. For the song Hayashibara requested help from Karashima Midori, whom wrote and composed the first theme song. Karashima later made a self cover of the song on her "SMILE AND TEARS ~Biemi no Shima~".
The single reached #8 on the Oricon chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of six weeks. The song also mangaed to reach #1 on the Komochatto Countdown chart.
