"Top Gun / Love Story" is the 25th single released by NEWS. The single was released in three versions: a limited CD+DVD "Top Gun" edition, a limited CD+DVD "Love Story" edition, and a regular CD edition that includes four additional audio tracks. The song "Top Gun" was used as the ending theme for the drama Yotsuba Ginko Harashima Hiromi ga Monomosu: Kono Onna ni Kakeru, and the song "Love Story" was used as a CM theme for the game NEWS ni Koi Shite. The interlude of the "Love Story" features a recording of the fans singing the melody of the song during the tour "EPCOTIA -ENCORE-".
