"MAXIMUM II" is the second original album released by MAX. The album reached #2 on the Oricon charts and charted for sixteen week. The album sold over one million copies and was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan. It also won the award Record of the Year and the 12th Annual Japan Golden Discs Awards. First pressing of the album came with a calender and an inverse poster.
