"STARSHIP -Hikari wo Motomete-" is the eighteenth single released by ALFEE. It was initially released as an EP record, then later as an 8cm CD. The title track was used as the theme song for the anime film Lensman: Secret of The Lens. The single reached #5 on the Oricon weekly chart and charted for sixteen weeks, selling approximately 311,000 copies. It was the #30 best-selling single of 1984.
