Shimizu Saki (清水佐紀) is a Japanese pop singer and idol managed by Up-Front Agency and part of Hello! Project. She is the captain of Berryz Kobo.

History

Shimizu Saki joined Hello! Project in 2002 as a member of Hello! Project Kids after passing the group's audition. In 2003, she was a member of the special unit ZYX. In 2004, she was one of eight members selected to form Berryz Kobo and became the group's captain. She is one of the group's main singers. In 2008, Shimizu became part of the unit High-King.

• Collects hand-written letters from members and classmates, and prefers getting hand-written letters as opposed to e-mail or text messages.
• Has played the piano since kindergarten.
• Loves pigs, and collects pig-related merchandise.
• Is the second oldest member of the Hello! Project Kids.
• For a time, she was the shortest member of Berryz Kobo, and usually mentioned that fact when introducing herself. As of May 2006, she is now 2cm taller than Tsugunaga Momoko.
• Is considered to be one of the best dancers in all of Hello! Project, often being associated with her seniors in sub-groups that mainly focus on dance.
