Yuri (유리) is a South Korean singer and actress under SM Entertainment. She is a member of the Korean pop girl group Girls' Generation. She became an SM Entertainment trainee after ranking in second place as the "Best Dancer" at the "2001 SM 1st Annual Youth Contest", and trained for five years and eleven months prior to joining "Girls' Generation".
