Depending on the country of release, they also go by Dong Bang Shin Ki and released under the abbreviations TVXQ, DBSK, or THSK. They have debuted in Korea, Japan, and China and are well known as one of the leaders of the Hallyu Korean Wave in Japan. They are currently under the SM Entertainment label in Korea and the rhythm zone label in Japan, though recently legal disputes have arisen with SM Entertainment that leaves the future of the group in Korea uncertain.
