So Nyeo Si Dae is Girls' Generation's debut album. The title track was promoted from November to December 2007, and is a cover of Lee Seung Chul's 1989 hit. "7989" is a duet by Taeyeon and Kangta. The song title is due to their birthday years: Kangta is 1979, and Taeyeon is 1989. "Honey (Sowon)" is a re-arranged version of Perfect for You (Sowon), included on their first single "Dasi Mannan Segye (Into the new world)".
A repackage album titled Baby Baby, was released four months later and was promoted from March to April 2008.
