"7989" is a pop song recorded by Taeyeon and singer Kangta who wrote, composed, and arranged the track. The song title is a combination of their birthday years; Kangta was born in 1979 and Taeyeon was born in 1989. It is the ninth track from their debut album So Nyeo Si Dae, and their repackaged album Baby Baby, and was also included in Kangta's fifth album Eternity as track #5.
