The drama was announced early December 2009. The first promo picture the girls wearing the costumes from their first #1 hit single [[RIVER]] and the date, time, and a sign that said coming soon. It had the same spot as the dorama [[Mendol]] that featured three [[AKB48]] members and fomed the sub unit [[no3b]]. On January 8th it's premier episode was aired, with a 4.8% rating, which isn't that bad considering it's plot and timeslot. | |||

Majisuka Gakuen (マジすか学園) is a Japanese dorama featuring mainly members of Idol group AKB48.
Synopsis
Maeda Atsuko is transferred to the violent and scary all girls high school "Majisuka Gauekn". Everyday fights break out and all the students dream to fight their way to the top of the Rappapa staircase. As Maeda Atsuko learns what being serious is all about she is helped by fellow transfer student Daruma.
