Private wars is dream's 3rd single. First pressings included a trading card. A VHS single was released later on June 7, 2000. Private wars was used in dream's CM campaign for SEA BREEZE toiletries, and as an ending theme to TV Tokyo's Sukiyaki!! London Boots Daisakusen. Start me up was used in dream's CM for the Morinaga sundae cup. Private Wars reached #13 on the Oricon charts and charted for 7 weeks.
