MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 ~THE JOURNEY~ is the fourth Japanese album released by BTS. It was released in eight versions: a limited CD+Blu-ray edition (A), a limited CD+DVD edition (B), two limited CD+Photobook editions (C & D), a regular CD edition, a UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE CD edition, BTS JAPAN OFFICIAL FANCLUB CD edition, and a Seven Net CD edition.

The album was certified Triple Platinum by RIAJ for shipment of over 750,000 units.
