Grapefruit is Sakamoto Maaya's debut album. The songs "Pocket wo Kara ni Shite", "Aoi Hitomi", "Yakusoku wa Iranai", "MY BEST FRIEND", and Kaze ga Fuku Hi were used in the anime The Vision of Escaflowne, in which Maaya made her seiyuu debut as the heroine Hitomi. The album reached #78 on the Oricon charts and charted for one week, selling 3,980 copies.
