"U" is Super Junior's first official single. The title track, promoted in music programs from June to September 2006, won Super Junior's first #1 on a music program, on SBS Inkigayo. A japanese version of the single, U / Twins, was released on July 2008. Super Junior-M also released a Chinese version of the title track.
The single charted at #1 on its first month of release, and sold 91,416 by the end of 2008.
