Kitty GYM was a temporary unit formed to promote Volleyball. Because the "Kitty" section does not sing much, they are often referred to as simply "GYM". In graphics, however, the Y is much larger than the G and M, showing the true focus of the group. The "GYM" portion is composed of Yamashita Tomohisa and the Thai duo Golf & Mike. The "kitty" portion, which mainly serves as back up, is composed of Kitayama Hiromitsu (Kis-My-Ft2), Inoo Kei (J.J. Express), Totsuka Shota (ABC), and Yaotome Hikaru (Ya-Ya-yah). Though there are only four members of kitty, there has never been a second T. They released their first and only single on August 30th, 2006.
