Trivia
- Heike-ha was formed in 1989 with originally 17 members. They were the "rival" of Genji from Hikaru Genji. Later they were choosen to backdance for Hikaru Genji.
- Sorimachi Takashi left Johnny's and started modelling.
- In 1990 Eiji Furukawa debuted as a member of Ninja.
- In 1990 a backdancing unit specifically for SMAP was formed called SMAP Gakuen. Kokubun Taichi, Sakamoto Masayuki and Inohara Yoshihiko were choosen to be part of this group.
- Jirou Matsumoto quit Johnny's.
- 1992, J-Eleven was formed.
