New Chapter #2: The Truth of Love is special album released by TVXQ!. It was released in three versions: WHITE version, PINK version and RED version. It was a continuation of the duo's eighth Korean studio album New Chapter #1: The Chance Of Love. It is a dance-pop album with elements of R&B and electropop. "Truth" was served as lead track of the album. The album was released to commemorate the duo's 15th anniversary that fell at the same day with the album release date.
The album debuted high in Itunes store on several countries; peaked at #1 in seven countries: Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates; peaked at #2 in three countries: Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Malaysia; and peaked at #5 in Philippines. Domestically, the album debuted at #2 on weekly Gaon Albums Chart, becoming their first studio album to not debut at the top and breaking the duo's number one streak on the charts since its inception in 2010. Meanwhile, the album debuted at #12 on Oricon weekly charts and sold around 12.960 copies in Japan.
