"Ai wa Kurayami no Naka de" is a pop song by ZARD The song uses the same melody as "Empty Days" by BLIZARD, a Japanese heavy metal band from the 80's. It is found on the "Good-bye My Loneliness" single as track #2 and "Good-bye My Loneliness" album as track #2.
In 2008, the song was rearranged and released on the "Tsubasa wo Hirogete / Ai wa Kurayami no Naka de" single as track #2. It was used as the 22nd opening theme for the anime Meitantei Conan.
