DEEP RIVER is Utada Hikaru's third album. This album reached #1 on Oricon charts and charted for 56 weeks. The entire album's physical art is in monochrome (ie black and white). The booklet is infamous for including a photo of Utada's foot. This album is the #1 album for 2002, according to Oricon. The most recent figures (2006.05.26) show that the album sold 3,604,588 units in total.
