Kenkyuusei (2017)

SKE48 Kenkyuusei (SKE48 研究生; Research Students) are a group of trainees aspiring to debut in SKE48. They fill in for absent members in the theater and are promoted to official members of SKE48 to replace graduated members.

Names of current members are in bold.

1st Generation (2008)

Sato Mieko was originally a member of Team S, but was demoted February 14, 2009. Shinkai Rina and Mori Sayuki were members of Team S before being demoted on April 1, 2010

2nd Generation (2009)

Iguchi Shiori, Uchiyama Mikoto, Kito Momona and Saito Makiko were members of Team KII before being demoted on December 6, 2010. Saito Yuna and Wako Junna were candidates for 2nd generation, but withdrew from the group before debuting.
