Sweetest Time is Matsuda Seiko's 30th album. Just like the former year with the release of the album Guardian Angel, Sweetest Time was a special Christmas release which included a 1998 calendar. It was re-released in 2009 in SHM-CD format, housed in a digipack. The album reached #23 on Oricon charts and charted for 3 weeks, selling 31,330 copies.
