Christmas Tree is Matsuda Seiko's 13th best album released as a special Christmas album. The tracks "Christmas Song Medley", which is a popular Christmas songs medley, "Koibito ga Santa Claus", "Blue Christmas", "Jingle Bells mo Kikoenai" and "Hoshi no Fantasy" were originally released in LP format on her third best album Kiniro no Ribbon, and later included in CD format on her 7th best album Seiko・Avenue. The album included two new cover songs, the title track, "Christmas Tree", and "Last Christmas". It reached #9 on Oricon charts ad charted for 7 weeks.
