Baby's breath is Matsuda Seiko's 42nd album. First press comes with a random sticker (1 of 2). The album includes for the first time a self-written/composed tracklist. In other occasions Matsuda wrote or co-composed the tracks, but this was her first time composing and producing a whole album by herself. The title refers to the flower Gypsophila paniculata, commonly known as Baby's Breath. All the photographs for the album were taken by the famous nude photographer Shinoyama Kishin. The album reached #19 on Oricon charts and charted for 6 weeks, selling 22,873 copies.
