Seaside ~Summer Tales~ is Matsuda Seiko's 18th best album released as a special Summer album. It was released against Matsuda's will since she was under Universal Music Japan at the moment of the release, and the album was released by her former label, Sony Music Japan. It's a continuation of the album released 7 months earlier. with a Winter theme, Winter Tales An edited version of the Bible album photoshoot was used for the cover art.
