"Letters" is a song recorded by Utada Hikaru, first released as an A-side on her "SAKURA Drops / Letters" single in 2002. It was used as the "NTT DoCoMo FOMA" CM song. While "Letters" was a A-side, it never had a promotional video to go with it, partly due to it's promotion through being a commercial song. The song was an effort between four major record labels, as several famous guitarists appeared on behalf of their record companies (Toshiba EMI, UNIVERSAL J, Sony Music Records and UNLIMITED RECORDS).

There are four versions of "Letters" to be found in Utada's discography. These different versions are:

Found on the "SAKURA Drops / Letters" single as track #2, DEEP RIVER as track #5 and Utada Hikaru SINGLE COLLECTION VOL.1 as track #14.
Letters -Original Karaoke-
Found on the "SAKURA Drops / Letters" single as track #4. This version is the same as the standard except without the main vocals.
Letters (Budokan Live)
Found on Utada Hikaru in Budokan 2004 - Hikaru no 5 as track #5. The arrangement is similar to the standard version.
Letters (Utada United Live)
Found on UTADA UNITED 2006 as track #18. The arrangement is similar to the standard version, but with extra adlibbing at the end.
