- Information
SEIKO JAZZ 3 is a jazz concept album recorded by Matsuda Seiko, and released under EMI Records. It was released in three versions: a limited CD+Blu-ray edition (Type A) which came with a Super High Material CD, a limited 2CD+DVD edition (Type B) that came with an LP-sized jacket and booklet, LP-sized poster, and a bonus CD featuring instrumentals of all the tracks, and a regular CD edition. The album saw Matsuda collaborate with Nathan East, who produced the album. This album includes an English-language self-cover of Matsuda's song "Akai Sweet Pea," featuring saxophonist Kenny G.
This is Matsuda's first album of newly-recorded material released since the death of her daughter, Kanda Sayaka, in December of 2021.
