"The Sound of Fire" is Matsuda Seiko's 50th single. The title track was used as image song for the "2001 International Figure Skating Championship". A new version titled "The Sound of Fire 2001" was included on Matsuda's 34th album LOVE&EMOTION VOL.1 . The single reached #46 on Oricon charts and charted for 3 weeks.
