It was released in four different versions: a CD+DVD edition, a CD only edition, a limited CD+Qlix Digital Camera edition and a limited CD+Postcard edition. These last two limited editions only contain the song "Poppin' love cocktail" which was used as "H.I.S." commercial song. "IN THE AIR" was used as the theme song for the mobile drama Love Spot ~Koi ga Minoru Basho~ and "KO-SO-KO-SO" was used as the theme song for the drama Piece Vote. This is her first single not to debut weekly into Oricon Top 5 since "Lies" released in 2006. The single reached #6 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 9 weeks.
