Suzuki Kanon was selected from Morning Musume’s 9th Generation to join Morning Musume as a ninth generation member on January 02, 2011, along with Sayashi Riho, Ikuta Erina, and the former Hello Pro Egg Fukumura Mizuki.
The 9th generatin made their concert debut in the same day they were announced as new members in [[Hello! Project 2011 WINTER ~Kangei Shinsen Matsuri~] and participated in the songs : Aozora ga Itsumademo Tsuzuku You na Mirai de Are! and Tomo.
